INTRODUCTION: The Monitor/Internal BondT Tester is designed to determine the internal bond strength of a variety of materials. A high speed impact is performed to measure the total energy required to separate the specimen into two plies. The automatic sample preparation station allows five specimens to be accurately prepared simultaneously. APPLICATIONS: Newsprint, Fine paper, Liner board, Book stock, Carton board, Medium, Coatings, Laminates FEATURES: * Digital display, storage and editing of up to 500 readings, selectable units (ft·lb, J/m², and kg·cm) * RS-232 serial output * Settable limits, statistics average, standard deviation, high/low results, report printout with optional printer * Automatic cutting of samples saves you time and keeps you safe * Pneumatic hammer release and magnetic brake * Automatic calibration * Automatic specimen hold-down during test sequence SPECIFICATIONS: * Pneumatic clamping force (50-200 psi) and dwell time (1 to 4 seconds) * ½ ft·lb pendulum standard. ¾ ft·lb and 1 ft·lb available for stronger materials. ¼ ft·lb and other weights also available * Results directly in ft·lb, J/m2, kg·cm * Conforms to TAPPI T569 PM00
